Hi,
I also have three cats. And it seems that only with the last category (with some very rare exceptions) that said cats decide they want to plop down in the middle of it and scatter all the counters or knock down the Columbia blocks. They don't get on the table and bat around the dice when we're playing D&D. They don't knock over the Castillo in El Grande. They don't muss with the 1830 stock market.
But the second I consult a CRT, they're all over it.
So, I ask you: what is it about wargames that cats find so attractive?
